Local Support and Programs

NAMI Temecula Valley offers a wide variety of programs to serve the community.

Our programs are:

NAMI Family-to-Family: 12 session course for family members. Teaches families how to better understand their relative’s illness. Information on medication, communication, recovery, and advocacy are taught. Next classes will start on Saturday, June 3, 2017 through August 19, 2017. There is no charge for the course; however, registration is required as class size is limited. The course will be held every Saturday (12 week course) from         10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (dates may change due to holidays). NAMI Family Support Group

The first and third Tuesdays, at 6:00 pm, at the Temecula Adult Mental Health Clinic.

NAMI CONNECTION SUPPORT GROUP: 10 week course for persons with a diagnosed mental illness. Peers learn how to understand, manage, and achieve recovery. The next class will start Saturday, July 9, 2016 through September 10, 2016. There is no charge for the course; however, registration is required as class size is limited. The course will be held every Saturday (10 week course) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (dates may change due to holidays).

Connection Support Group meets at Crossroads Church located at 26090 Ynez Road, Temecula, 92591, on the first, second, and third Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. It is for peers only (people who have a mental illness). The fourth Tuesday is a group outing. For more information, please contact Sharon at (951) 603-4135.

NAMI Parents & Teachers as Allies
: Informative presentations on recognizing early-onset mental illness in children and adolescents.

NAMI In Our Own Voice: Trained peers share their journey from diagnosis to recovery.
